Lay Worship & Leadership Foundation Course Starting Wed, 16th Sept 2026
Are you inspired to lead Unitarian services with your unique voice, need help with leading, or want to improve the quality of your worship leadership?
Join our online Zoom course led by Unitarian Ministers and experienced lay people covering the following topics:
- Exploring the theology of worship and elements of a Unitarian service
- Writing sermons and addresses
- Choosing hymns and music
- Improving creative storytelling for all ages
The course will be held via eight, 2-hour online zoom modules (19:00-21:15) on the following dates:

- 23rd Sept
- 30th Sept
- 7th Oct
- 14th Oct

- 11th Nov

- 5th Dec – Final Assessment & next steps
The cost of the course will be £150, and participants are encouraged to approach congregations and Districts to help with funding.

Our Lay Worship & Leadership Foundation course is open to everyone who would like to share their unique voice, learn how to lead worship, or improve their quality of worship.
